We do not currently offer a long-term local phone number for Turkey. There is no Turkish number that you can rent by the month, keep for a year, and use as a normal contact number. If that is what you came for, this page will not sell it to you, and it will not tell you to wait for it.
What is available for Turkey is a different product: a one-time number. It exists for a single purpose, and it is worth understanding that purpose before you order.
What a one-time number does
A one-time number receives one verification SMS. You order the number, you enter it on the website or in the application that is asking you to confirm a phone number, and the code arrives. After that the number is finished. It is not stored in your account, it is not renewed, and it does not come back to you later. Availability and price are shown at the moment you order, and this is a paid product, not a free public number that many people share.
When this is the right choice
- You need to pass a single phone confirmation step and nothing more.
- You are registering somewhere once and do not plan to log in again from a new device.
- You do not want to give out your personal mobile number for one code.
When this is the wrong choice
- You need to receive a second code on the same number later. You will not have that number any more.
- You want to protect an account with two-factor confirmation over a long period.
- You may need to recover the account one day, which usually requires the original number.
- You want people to call you or write to you on this number.
- You want a number printed on a business card, a website, or an advertisement.
